WiRiANet [aka EDEO BlazeMap™] Project Funded

With funding now secured through the BayTOU program by Bayern Innovativ and sponsorship from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, we are set to commence a groundbreaking project. This initiative involves deploying deep learning systems for assessing risks and quantifying damages from natural hazards, utilizing multispectral satellite data from ESA's Sentinel-2. The project's objective is to develop an automated AI processing pipeline for classifying natural hazards, primarily wildfires, and advance it to perform predictive classifications. This technology will provide crucial insights and decision-making tools for various organizations globally, particularly in areas with inadequate natural hazard management.
